Katie Price Mistress of the Dark

Katie Price is set to take on the role of a vampire in a new Hollywood movie, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, a remake of the classic 1988 film.  Producers are keen for Price to star in the role made famous by American actress Cassandra Peterson.

"It’s a very good time to be British in Hollywood and you can’t fail to notice Jordan - she knows how to shine," an insider told the Daily Star. "Cassandra Peterson has been in talks about a remake for some time but didn’t want to take on the role again herself, even thought she still appears as Elvira.

"Everyone was at a loss until they spotted Jordan on a gossip website. She just looks perfect and then they discovered she has a penchant for one-liners. She will have to lose the tan, though. And Cassandra’s Elvira worked because of the mixture of her dark image and her Valley Girl wit - so Kate will have to learn an American accent."

Katie and her husband Peter Andre are currently starring in a new series of their ITV2 reality show.

Victoria Beckham Leaves Spice Girls Forever

In an interview with Britain’s News of the World newspaper, Victoria Beckham revealed she is leaving the Spice Girls and will never sing with them again. The Spice Girls reacted by cancelling the extension of their world tour. Their last performance will be on February 26th in Toronto.

Here are some of the juicier quotes from her interview with Britain’s News of the World:

“I was very nervous about going back into the Spice Girls because I didn’t want to send out a confused message,” she admitted to Britain’s News of The World newspaper.”

“The reason I decided to do the tour was to show my kids that mummy was a pop star once.”

“I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. I’m not in the music industry any more. I’m in the fashion industry.”

“I’m putting together a team of people now so it will be my main project when I finish this tour in a month.”

It’s rumored that Victoria is leaving the Spice Girls to focus on her career as a fashion designer. While she reportedly earned $40 million for the Spice Girls tour, she will make $30 million this year alone from her fashion designing business. So far, she has launched a sunglasses line and her DVB brand jeans.
