Elton John’s Art Collection Tied to Child Pornography

Elton John purchased a collection of photographs by controversial photographer Nan Goldin in 1999.  The collection is called Thanksgiving and includes a photo of two naked girls titled Klara and Edda Bellydancing.  This is the photo that caused police to confiscate the collection at England’s Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts in Newcastle.  The photo is now under investigation.

Elton John counters by claiming the collection has been on loan to many art galleries over the years without objection.
